July 17 and 18, the Atikokan Public Library will host “Voice—Finding It, Playing with It, Developing It, and Refining It,” a writing workshop sponsored by NOWW.
NOWW members Roy Blomstrom and Marion Agnew will share exercises designed to help writers find an effective way to give voice to their characters—and revise that voice, as necessary.
The event will kick off with a reading on Friday evening, July 17th, at 7. Bring work to share!
Workshops on Saturday will run from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 18.
The events are free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Atikokan Public Library at (807) 597-4406.
