Writers are creative regardless of weather. Spring in August? Summer in late September? Snow in October? Random acts of sunshine along the way?
Bring it on. The pen (or computer keyboard) knows no season, and NOWW’s writers have been busy. Now is the time to share the harvest.
Come celebrate the abundance of creativity that is writing in Northwestern Ontario. A baker’s dozen–or more–writers will share poetry and other creative wordworks.
Bring your own work to share at the open mic. Do you have a flower? A weed? A beneficial herb? A poison? If it’s one short poem, share it!
Readings are at 7 p.m. in the Fireside Room of the Brodie Resource Library, 216 S. Brodie Street, Thunder Bay.
